The smoothest taohue I ever had in Singapore so far! The taste is very authentic, unlike some I had outside that has a slight sour after taste. They use brown sugar syrup instead which is a better option compared to artificial sweetener or white sugar syrup. It’s so smooth and light, but it’s not pudding. $1.50 each bowl. Same price for takeaway. Recommended friends there and they all love it. They sell soya bean and other Chinese traditional dessert like yiu tiao and stuff too.
Awesomest Soya bean curd and fried dough sticks... Highly suggest the cold soya bean milk and dough stick on a hot day. The stall owner is a friendly lady that will suggest if you want it less sweet. The place may be old but oh my the food is good. They are closed on Sundays...
This shop doesn’t have a five-star look but the lady working there provides five-star service. I bought not just good beancurd but also a moment of simple happiness. And for that reason alone, I shall make my return.
The staff here were incredibly helpful and friendly, and they took the time to discuss the menu with us. We visited three times during our stay in Singapore. The menu was extensive, but we only tried the smooth beans with a sweeter sauce and the baked donut—both vegan! They were very affordable and absolutely delicious. We've even started making bean curd pudding at home in Britain, but it doesn't compare to what we had here!
