Periasta - Central Bedfordshire

My family and I order from this restaurant about twice a month. The food is good, but there is always a wait of one and a half to two hours for our food, even on weekdays. I work in the hospitality industry myself and I don't understand the constant wait, unless they have a tiny kitchen. I am only writing this review in the hopes that it can be improved.

I had a great meal tonight at the restaurant. The vegan mountain burger and chili cheese bites were delicious. The food was piping hot, fresh, and tasted amazing.

I really enjoy the food at this restaurant! My favorite dish is the chicken, and I think their chips taste similar to Nando's. The food is well cooked and delicious. I am especially fond of their waffles, and the portions are generous.

The food is average at best. Chicken is dry and won’t hit the mark of you’re wanting a substitute for Nando’s. The wait for the food is ridiculous, hour and half on a Monday night for two people. The customer service is the worst part. No concern for the delay, avoiding answering the phone and actively trying to end the conversation without giving an expected delivery time. Won’t be returning.

I had the peri peri chicken fillet burger meal and wings. The burger and wings were seasoned beautifully and portions were great value for money. We received great customer service on arrival in the shop. My favourite thing was the chilli sauce as it had a good kick to it and a distinctly unique flavour. Will definitely be returning.
