Great place to take the kids ans have a good show right in front of you. The food is really good

Mikado is one of the best if not the best hibachi and sushi in Eastern Suffolk if not all of Suffolk. I've searched for a place that has excellent sushi chefs with always fresh fish. The sushi chefs are one of the main reasons I always go back. They are legit that good. The hibachi chefs are a mixed bag. We've had standard ones and ones that weren't that great, but as of recent their hibachi chef is at the top of the game. The man's fingers are like a family of eastern block gymnasts/ trapeez artists. High flying maneuvers with his spatula and fork, eggs tossed in the air with the greatest of ease. Really the whole family enjoys it so much, and the kids aren't shy about telling us when they don't enjoy the show. Again this is the premier destination if you're looking for a show and amazing food.

Each time I've had dinner here it has been a good experience. Food is great and so is the service. Our Hibachi chef/cook (forgive me if I am using the wrong words) is always so much fun and makes the experience an amazing one. Love that it is near by

Mikado is great hibachi is always fun it's a clean place with great ambiance nice dim lighting and good food soup though lol is always cold hahaha everytime I go but still good overall great experience!!! Def worth checking out and ember roll if your into sushi is absolutely !!!!

A great meal...every time! All of the food is so fresh and delicious. If you have not tried the steak hibachi rice, you must! As for the staff, they are polite, and very professional. Not the friendliest bunch, but they do their job well. The man on the phone is very direct and businesslike, but not rude in my opinion. He has never messed up an order, so that is to his credit. Prices are fair and right in line with other places, but the quality is where this place shines. Cali rolls are always fresh. My kids love the chicken tempura rolls too. Eat here, and enjoy. A
