Zum Blauen Engel - Celle

Excellent carving and good beer! Everything in a real and friendly environment, what you can ask more?

This is a restaurant where you can get traditional German cuisine. You have a variety of pork dishes, unfortunately I can;t remember the names (not familiar with German names). I visited the place a few times. It's an old building. Crawled on weekends, but you could wait another place without much.

It was the best food we found in Germany! Row beef Rouladen that we took we perfect! And we are thanks full to very nice waitress that gave us all the possible explanations to menu positions!

German beer pub with friendly staff and good beer. We sat outside and enjoyed a few beers and the nice atmosphere in Celle. A small and honest place.

I have past the Blue Angel many time, never tempted to walk in; at first glimpse, it doesn't look appealing, but the first impression is wrong. It's a very nice, old school, German restaurant with an excellent choice of dishes; more choices than most Celler...restaurants. And much more affordable too. But what counts is taste. Taste and gastwirdschaft is King at this restaurant. I will be back for more, I can only endorse you to check out for yourself.
