Wadadly's Island Flavorz - Cedar Rapids

This was my first visit, recommended by friends. The food is freshly prepared, and I've never tasted chicken like this in the area. Everything was delicious, and the owners were very friendly. I’ll definitely be returning for lunch this week. The picture shows just a portion of my meal.

I had some of the best spiced ribs I've ever tasted, and they were packed with tender meat! The red beans and rice were also excellent. A few weeks ago, I ordered from them and forgot to leave a review. I really hope they continue to be this fantastic. Make sure to order at Rumors Bar through the window on the back wall!

Later in the evening, they had run out of a few items, which I can understand. This place is absolutely outstanding! The jerk chicken is authentically prepared with just the right amount of heat. The portion sizes are generous, too. I enjoyed seasoned fries, ribs, rice and beans, and the incredible jerk chicken. The ribs were so tender that they practically fell off the bone. The head chef even apologized and offered to prepare more cabbage, but we declined since we want something to look forward to on our next visit. The service was extremely nice and friendly! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hidden gem!

So good food and so worth waiting! We have a Jamaican wrap and an order of half jerk ribs with Coleslaw and red beans and rice. The price is completely reasonable for the amount of food you receive and the taste is from this world. YUM!

I live close by drive passed this strip mall every day. I saw their sign the other day they sounded super good not like anything else around here, so my boyfriend I stopped in. Forewarning, it's not fast food don't expect it to be. They even have snowcones i watched them make one for someone. It looked amazing. We got the half jerk chicken dinner with coleslaw and mac cheese with an extra side of potato salad. I didn't try the potato salad, but my boyfriend said it was really good. We also got the 4 pc fried wings. I literally have zero complaints about anything. The food was all so amazing. I'm not much one for the charred taste, but they made it taste so delicious here the spices in both the jerk chicken fried chicken wings were incredible. I literally could not set down rhe coleslaw barely shared because it was so damn good. It was the best coleslaw i've ever had. Hands down. The atmosphere was very relaxed in rhere they had the best rasta music playing. Definitely will be back for a snow cone to try the banana pudding!
