After watching a YouTube review of the new Doughnut Chicken Sandwich, I felt my heart race with excitement at the sight of that delectable combination of doughnuts and chicken. Without wasting a moment, I jumped into my car and drove—perhaps not as fast as my pulse—to the nearest KFC. Once I arrived at the drive-thru, I quickly placed my order and moved to the front, where a friendly staff member greeted me and collected my payment. Soon enough, my warm bag of deliciousness was handed to me, and I couldn't wait to get home. This time, I drove a bit faster than my heart rate as I made a beeline to my kitchen island. I eagerly peeled back the lid of the carton that contained the remedy for my racing heartbeat. My eyes widened at the sight of the warm, glossy doughnut glaze enveloping both the top and bottom of the doughnut, smoothly cascading over the crispy chicken in the middle. This sandwich is pure bliss, and the phrase "finger-licking good" has never been more accurate.
