Lu Nello - Cedar Grove

This is one of the best, if not the best restaurant in New Jersey. The freshness, flavor, creativity of the food all served with kindness and love is top shelf. Chef and owner Louis Seger keeps reinventing the experience always keeping it current while staying true to its roots. Well done!

We had a fantastic dining experience at Lu Nello Restaurant tonight. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. The Italian food was nothing short of amazing—each dish was crafted with precision and full of authentic flavors that truly transported us to Italy. This restaurant is not only a great place to enjoy a delicious meal but also perfect for conversation. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between being lively and relaxed, allowing us to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Our waiter, Mario, was exceptional—his attention to detail and friendly demeanor made our evening even more enjoyable. Roberto, another member of the staff, was also very attentive and helpful, ensuring that everything was just right. Overall, Lu Nello exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch Italian cuisine and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be returning!

We were here once. The steak was terrible. It had to be sent back, which we never do. The calamari was average at best for the ridiculous price. I had to ask for espresso beans for my espresso martini. The staff was nice, but this is definitely not the quality we were hoping for.

Food is excellent the service seems a bit off. Attitude issues abound. Must be related to the owner. Young lady was rude. No greeting.
