Their fried rice with fish wasn't as expected. The steamed chicken was good and delicious..

The foods are good, I hope they add traditional halo-halo to their menu.

Food is great. First time eating at Kuya J. My only complain is that the staff are sluggish and hard to get their attention. But I'm quite amazed how their food taste. It taste great.

Kuya J is my usual go to Filipino Restaurant that I can say has been consistent interms of Quality Authentic Pinoy Taste. Prepandemic I could easily rate them Perfect Star just because they got that nostalgic Beef Kaldereta taste that has always been my favorite pinoy dish. Recently their portions are smaller across all their menu from their platter rice, pinakbet, beef caldereta included I believe their Iced Tea. Making them kinda pricey for the menu portions they are serving. Though understandable because of the recent economic situation, but I used to be really full and satiated prepandemic after finishing my order/plate now it is like I am on a portion control diet . I have an issue of restaurants changing their menu portion/s for this I am deducting 1 star for my rating. But still i find their food really really good and tasty don't get me wrong. Service is good and fast, place is clean and orderly. Oh! I have to say Kuya J restaurant has the best Cutlery set Spoon+Fork is really comfortable to grip adding to a good eating experience.

Food is Great. Service is absolutely horrible. Really hope management changes the staff here. At 3pm, when theyre not in full capacity, we waved to a waitress for her to take our order, she said 5 minutes... 15 minutes after, order not yet taken. We asked for a high chair, that male staff of theirs wearing a white shirt just walked away and started talking with one of his colleagues.
