Ocean Front Pizza - Cayucos

We're at a beautiful beach in Cayucos, and having pizza here is a real treat! While I can't give it a full five stars since that’s reserved for truly exceptional experiences, I definitely rate it above four stars because it’s quite tasty. I've seen some low reviews that make me wonder if those people just had an off day. Every time I've had their pizza, I've enjoyed it. After a day of surfing and relaxing by the campfire, this pizza hits the spot perfectly. I'm really glad they were open and serving. Thanks for the great meal! We tried the pepperoni and barbecue pizzas.

As locals, we will never return to this place. It seemed like everyone just wanted to go home early and didn’t care about serving their customers. We even noticed two young girls playing around in the shop, applying lip gloss and getting ready to leave before 8:00. Instead of preparing pizzas, they were more focused on socializing. The cook had already stopped working and was hanging out outside before 8:00 as well. Couldn’t they have made a simple pizza for my family? It’s summer in California, at a beach pizza place, and you'd expect them to be open a bit later than 8:00.

I rarely write reviews, but after 72 years of enjoying pizza, I have to say this was the worst I've ever had! The crust was so hard that if I threw it at someone, they could get seriously hurt—no exaggeration. When I hit the arm of my metal beach chair with it, the people sitting next to us just stared in disbelief. "Nice pizza you've got there?" they commented. I honestly don't know what went wrong, but I can say for certain that I won't be returning!

Vacation in Cayucos from Oklahoma and wanted a great pizza all week. We only did it when we went to Ocean Front Pizza. Absolutely delicious food and friendly staff. Try it anyway!

This place is really a charming spot for an incredible pizza experience. Been here 3-4 times over my traveling years and will continue to as long as I live in California.
