Rip Van Winkle Services Station

Ordered wings to go. They were ready when I got there (prompt) and the Thai-Chili flavor was very good. The big disappointment was that 1) they used a plastic bag to package it. I really didn't need ANY bag and a paper bag would have been fine too. and 2) that they put the wings in a plastic clamshell. (The kind that can't even be recycled). I just don't get it. I know the pandemic has been hard on restaurants but I have received tin containers from many others so apparently they are not impossible to get. This packaging truly would make me hesitate from ordering again. I hope this changes. I'll call again in a month or so and see if it has. I'd like to support this business.

A friend and I brought our five kids for a nice family dinner and that is what we got! The beer was yummy and the food met all our expectations. The restaurant was moderately busy but our waitress was attentive. If you are in the area, we recommend it.

This review is solely for the lack of service. I checked the hours beforehand and it said closed at 9pm. We arrive at 7:40 and we were told they were closed and not taking any more tables. Staff must not be supervised and just decide when to close. On a holiday weekend too. Get your act together or update your information online.

They closed their kitchen 45 minutes before closing time and did not apologize for the inconvenience. Instead they suggested we buy a 4 pack of beer to-go even though we told them we drove a distance for dinner. They also would not answer any phone calls throughout the day when calling ahead before arrival.
