Il Mondo - Catania

Delicious Chinese food at reasonable price, the service was good too... it also seemed that many local people were eating here...

Friends introduced us to this place; first Chinese Restaurant we've been to since arriving here in Sicily. Food was pretty good; curry, fried rice, egg rolls, beef broccoli, and other dishes...all were good with the exception of the wonton soup; wasn't crazy about it, but our friends were. I didn't give it 5 stars because they don't have high chairs for kids and the place is extremely small so it was definitely a tight fit trying to sit comfortably without rubbing elbows with the people on the table next to us.

We were in need of a change up from all the pizza and pasta and went to Il Mondo for some Chinese food. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and reasonable prices. Portions were great and great variety. We had the duck and bamboo which was great. The servers even made us seasonal veggies off the menu when we asked them for it. Recommended if you're looking for Chinese in Catania!

The food is good, affordable but why I gave 2 because customer service is slightly poor.. I am a Filipino and to compare how the server treat the Caucasian customer who where also there is far different from on how I was welcomed. The server is more friendly compared on how I was catered.

Extremely clean, friendly and friendly local always, offer a well-kept and over-mode service with fast. you eat well, good preparation of dishes with intense and delicate flavors. recommended!
