Trolly Car Rotisserie - CASTROVILLE

Great food, large portions, clean bathrooms, casual beach setting but table service (not counter service) We ordered the half rotisserie chicken and steak sandwich. The steak was a whole NY strip cooked to order (medium rare). The rotisserie chicken was lightly seasoned and cooked well (but perhaps on the slightly dry side). Served with homemade salsa or BBQ sauce. The scalloped potatoes were home made as well, soft all the way through and fantastic!

Though my salmon burger was cooked well. It was priced at $20. A little steep for Castroville. Don't you think? The pull pork was way too salty. My husband couldn't eat it.

DON'T EAT HEAR!!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE AND THE FOOD ISN'T WORTH THE PRICE...... WASTE OF MONEY TIME..... I WOULD RATHER EAT BURGER KING

Delicious food, delightful staff and cute decor. A family favorite. The scalloped potatoes are a must. Worth a stop by!

My husband and I had lunch here for the first time. This is a small but cute restaurant. We were greeted and found our seats. My husband ordered a wine, but it was not available nor was the potato salad he ordered. My cobb salad with grilled chicken was okay.
