Ships Inn - Castlewood

This was our third visit to Ships Inn, and it was our first time ordering food. With a large group, we were pleased to find that our meals arrived promptly, were exactly as we ordered, and tasted fantastic. Many in our party chose the prime rib, and it was outstanding. My husband was especially delighted to see New England Clam Chowder as the soup of the day. Our server was friendly, engaging, and always greeted us with a smile. Terry, Angie, and Justin all stopped by to check on us and chat, adding to the experience. Adam also came over to ensure we were happy with our meals! The service and atmosphere here are exceptional, and it's something others should strive to replicate. We will certainly be back! Thank you all for being so welcoming!

Excellent food and outstanding service for all! This charming little spot features numerous TVs, a lovely back patio, a full bar, and a complete menu. We had a wonderful family night out, enjoying delicious food, relaxing, and catching up. The prime rib and steak are definitely the best-kept secret of this restaurant. You get great value for beautifully seasoned and aged beef. Kid-friendly options are available too! Service was fantastic, and we dined in for dinner.

As a first-time visitor to the Ships Inn, I was thoroughly impressed. The food was excellent! We tried the Cracken Burger, Stroganoff Burger, Mack Melt, and the Fish Basket, and everything was delicious. The menu boasts a wide variety of appetizers, along with chicken wings, burgers, sandwiches, salads, steaks, and more—all of which were great. I can't wait to return with a bigger appetite to sample a steak. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and the bar was well-stocked. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!
