The Beara Coast - Castletownbere

I couldn't eat anywhere on a Sunday afternoon. by murphy’s and they were booked and a friendly man who works there, sent us to beara coast hotel. wow, what a great experience. our waiter oliver was far superior. knowledgeable, professional and friendly. eating was amazing and price was also quite good.

New opened, so, some beginners slip. the breakfast was both a disappointment tomorrow. cold toast, poor all-terrain, burned pancakes, no syrup or lemon a naked (can hardly taste) drop honey. the eggs were good. no baked or skorn or made to house brot. had a beautiful, deep fryed braut to lunch. great location, beautiful room with view. dogs allowed fantastic.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful part of the country. extremely peaceful and with a beautiful view covered and just a short walk down to the city. in the bar and both the dinner and the breakfast were beautiful and, like the norm for west cork, all work in the hotel (and all that we met in the opposite) were extremely friendly. would be highly recommended.

I wasn't in this hotel, but with 2 friends, thought to be a quick lunch. it looks beautiful on the inside with a great modern painting hanging on the walls. the best thing was eating. amazing chowder and fantastic chalamari.

Went to the Beara Coast Hotel on Wednesday last ,four adults and a baby ,sat outside as it was a beautiful day,I ordered a chicken salad salad sandwich ,but was told as it wasn 't on the menu ,they couldn 't do it ,so I opted for a portion of chips and brown bread. I shared the bread and when we broke the bread ,we discovered what looked like cobwebs growing inside !!! The main reason why I 'm writing this review is not to complain about the food ,when I went to pay for the drinks ,I found our waitress in tears ,I have worked with this young lady before ,she 's a lovely girl and a super worker ,but because we complained ,some bully in the kitchen took it out on her !Absolutely shocking treatment of staff Couldn 't recommend this place !!
