The pub in Castletown. Some nice whiskey and decent but not exceptional range of beers. Quirky, no actually slightly eccentric staff. A pleasure.
Passed a great night there recently, heard the riveting story of Aidan MacCarthy, and then I was shown a very special samurai sword and other special momentoes. To top this, we met a charming and thoroughly inspiring German couple....a very special night, thanks, Adrienne.
Absolutely buzzing on a Saturday night. Great live music. And even greater atmosphere.
