Modo Mio - Castle Hill

I took my family here after having an amazing experience a few weeks ago, but this time it was quite disappointing. The service was very slow, the music was so loud that we couldn’t even hear each other talking, and the schnitzel was so dry it was inedible (they did issue a refund for it). On a positive note, the pizza was fantastic, although I probably won’t be returning.

This charming little restaurant is a gem. The food was delightful, and the service was top-notch. Our server, Mary, was exceptionally lovely. Although our meal took a bit longer than expected, they sincerely apologized and generously offered us complimentary dessert! I highly recommend this place.

The pizza here is incredible, featuring authentic Napoli style with delicious aromas. The chili oil adds a fantastic kick, and the staff are very accommodating. Overall, I would rate the food 5/5, the service 5/5, and the atmosphere 5/5. Highly recommended!

I came here tonight for a second date and was completely blown away, honestly everything was perfect. Wait staff were lovely, happy and made sure all of our needs were met, food and wine was all delicious, well portioned, well presented and very reasonably priced, the restaurant also wasn’t too loud and the music was very atmospheric. I completely lucked out having picked this place, I hope it never changes and stays around forever. Nothing could have been done better and words won’t do it justice, at least none that I can think of.Thank you guys so so much

We had a meal at Modo Mio last night and I ordered the veal snichnitzel with fries. It arrived on the largest plate and sliced big enough to feed an army. We laughed it off and then we thought we could take the rest home as it was a very generous serve . It’s was blend, no flavour, and more crust on top than veal. It was just disgusting and thought I cook mine better at home. It had no sauce to accompany it and no veggies on the side as that was seperate to buy. For dessert we ordered a sponge cake which was ok but the Tiramisu was average. It was very disappointing considering it wasn’t cheap to pay for our meal that was mediocre and tasteless. I will not recommend this restaurant to my friends.
