Definitely the best Char Kway Teow in The Hills District! It has everything a Msian local hawker stall would fry with- pork lard, lap Cheong, prawns ‘Wok Hei’ taste to it. We had to go back to taste their Nasi Lemak Wat Tan Hor with green pickle chillies the next day. Great dishes will definitely be our regular weekend lunch places to go too. Curry puff is worth trying too. If only their sambal are spicier, it would have transport me back to Malaysia immediately
There's always a long queue during lunch. I've been here many times. I would highly recommend their Char Kway Teow, Har Mee, satay skewers and curry puff. Their Char Kway Teow has wok hei and crunchy pork lard which is how an authentic char Kway Teow should be. It's quite mild so if you want it spicier you could always ask for them to up the heat. Best Char Kway Teow and Har Mee in the Hills District. Remember to ask for sambal when the food comes out as sometimes they forget.
The roti canai was freshly made and was perfectly hot, fluffy and crispy some of the best I had anywhere. the chicken curry could have had more taste, but the hen was tender and the curry was tasty enough to this the best Roti meal that I had been in sydney for long.
I have been coming to this mall for sometime and usually eat Vietnamese and Chinese. I ate chicken wings, curry puffs and spring rolls before but wanted to try vegetable laksa! The laksa was nice, but the only vegetable was grated lettuce and bean sprouts (I think) poor quality. The other food items are generally better than this attempt. This was a real disappointment.
