If you like candys, chocolates and want to taste the best sicilian pastries visit Ferruzza. I really recommend them!!!

One of the strange things about Sicily is that you can come across the most amazing air-conditioned bar/café in the most god awful of villages. How and why is best not to ask. Castellana, tucked away in the Madonie mountains, is not such a bad place but does boast one of the most luxurious bar/cafes I have seen-and is full of wonderful things: the most amazing cakes, gelato, sweets and home-made chocolate and probably more. Its run by young women and almost exclusively caters for young women. There maybe some local law banning men but they allowed us in. The coffee is pretty good too. Definitely stop there if you are touring this beautiful region which is full of oak forests and home to eagles (though I'm not allowed to tell you where they nest).
