フィードバックを提供するThe restaurant is not easy to recognize as it passes from the road along a distance that leads past the side of the bar. I was in castelfranco with my wife on a warm Friday evening ende mai, so all bars and restaurants around the piazza and inside the city walls were packed. we looked a little further and discovered this place. first it seemed that the people who were eating on the outside were hotel guests, but we checked it out and sat down on the last available outside table. the waiter appeared and gave us menus, result, we are there. primi and segundo piatti were both excellent. bottle decent prosecco only €11.00 whole bill only over €40.00 for what a very good meal. cannot speak for the hotel sector of the company, but the meal was just good.
This is an evaluation of the hotel, not the restaurant. I am not a bad criticism writing in the rule, but I felt that this particular experience justified it. my mother has booked our accommodation on the phone as she can speak fluent Italian. when she had booked the 2nd room (3 months in advance), she was informed by the hotel that no booking confirmation was required and that my brothers, sisters and I could just show up the day. I felt uncomfortable with it because our booking was a whole week, so a few weeks before I had the hotel by email about their website to confirm our booking. no answer was received. we turned to the hotel and surprise, they had no recordings about our booking. they could bring us, but as they had a high-time celebration in the following weeks, they were a room they said was their problem and something they would sort out. to cut a very long story short, we were thrown out of our rooms unexpectedly (we literally returned to move our things into a hold room) and moved into another hotel in the city. the hotel claimed that this was all due to a misunderstanding due to the difference in language, but its English seemed ok if the situation justified it. the whole experience has not started well and was certainly not good. the customer service provided by the hotel was quite bad, even before the incident in the last night. when we checked in, there was no explanation about the breakfast, how the front doors are closed at a certain time in the night and that the hotel is only accessible by the location of a summer that may or cannot be answered. I am all for the support of family businesses (which I think was) but given this experience and customer service provided, I will never stay here again and would not recommend it unless they were desperate. In summary, the hotel that we were moved to (albergo al tto) was a much cleaner, friendly, English-friendly and more modern accommodation, and the additional 5 euro per night in comparison to speranza worth.
