I absolutely loved the food! I ordered the ribs, while others in our group enjoyed the brisket and a two-meat combo with brisket and ribs. The service was excellent. We dined in for dinner, and the price per person was between $10 and $20. I would give the food a 5 out of 5, the service a perfect 5, and the atmosphere also a solid 5. I highly recommend trying the pulled pork!

Slip Slip Slippin' Away. It had been a while since our last visit to Anker, so we decided to go there for a date night. The highlight of both our meals was definitely the French fries. I ordered the brisket and initially planned to have a baked potato with it, but then I saw that they charge extra for butter or sour cream. What’s next, an extra charge for ketchup for my fries? The brisket itself was quite bland, and the barbecue sauce was overwhelmingly vinegar-based. My mac and cheese was more like soup than a cheesy delight. My wife chose the chicken bacon ranch sandwich, which she usually loves, but she barely touched it and said the bun was the best part. On the bright side, our waiter was fantastic—he brought us refills and checked on us frequently. He was the standout aspect of an otherwise disappointing experience.
