So pleased we had the chance to visit this restaurant on our last night in Casale, they had been on a few days holiday so it had been closed. It was busy but they managed to fit us in, the young man who served us is so charming and friendly, and so proud of his restaurant which has been in his family for a couple of generations. The pizzas here are delicious, made with spelt flour they are thin and crispy, definitely different from any we have tried elsewhere and most enjoyable. Do try the schiacciatino, almost like a pizza sandwich, delicious! Then we had delicious crepe with armagnac and a delicious orange 'jam ' which the young propietor was so proud of as he made that himself. A really enjoyable evening and definitely one to return to another year, cant wait!
Called here as a lunch stop. The car park is right opposite which initially led us to look around the village first. A very pretty village but we headed back to here. Daughter had tortellini which was the best I’ve tried in Italy. Other daughter had a crepe and my wife and I both had panini which were excellent. Cappuccino were only €1.50 each which was good and total bill was only €38 including €6 copperto.
Nice and friendy service. The late macchiato was very ok. The crepes were eaten by the kids, what is at the end an honest judge for the food. It was raining in this month if July and we were happy to find a creperie open in this nice village.
Very friendly staff very kind and exceptional products. right prices. to recommend. ,
