フィードバックを提供するWe celebrated my mother's birthday with a daytime dinner at this restaurant and everyone was pleased with the delicious food. Our server was fantastic, especially with my daughters. He was professional, friendly, and attentive. We all agreed that this would be the first of many wonderful visits to Lugano's.
We had a reservation for a table of four. The bread and appetizers were excellent, although two out of the four of us were just okay. The restaurant was out of some desserts that we wanted to try. We were also told that their espresso machine was not working, so we would have to wait if we wanted espresso. The service was okay, but a bit slow. Overall, I would give this restaurant a rating of 3.5. I might consider trying it again, but probably not on a Saturday night.
This time, we must have visited on an especially good night, considering the contemptible negative reviews we've read. We indulged in an iceberg wedge, tomato soup, tortellini ala panna, and chicken marsala, all of which were exceptional as always. The soup was creamy with just the right touch of sherry, the wedge salad was fresh and crisp, and the dressing was tastefully done. The tortellini was perfectly cooked with the ideal amount of sauce, and the chicken in the marsala dish was prepared just right, not overcooked like in some Italian restaurants, and the marsala sauce was slightly understated but delicious. However, the standout was the spinach, which was particularly flavorful in its tangy sauce, though some may not appreciate its richness. The service was top-notch, even though we arrived late and the restaurant was only a quarter full. We have dined here several times last year when it was packed, and never had a bad experience. Everything arrived promptly, and our waiter was very attentive. The only thing that marred the evening was that the staff did not wear masks, which was a bit unsettling. As this is our favorite Italian spot, they can be certain that we will let them know if they slip up.
Restaurant looks somewhat formal, but was very comfortable for traveling family to lunch. eating was the first price, including pizza, pasta, salat. would definitely return if back in the opposite.
The environment was nice and the service was good. The bread they serve in the beginning was also good. We were there early and they had ran out of calamari, which is ridiculous. The pork chops were very good and tender with good flavor. They shrimps were well cooked and large in both the salmon dish and the Capellini del Mare. However, the Capellini was very salty and the only good part about it was the shrimp. The fettuccine was good however it was also very salty.
