The Pie Safe Carthage, Mo

Stopped in on a whim and discovered some of the most amazing little pies! Blackberry and cherry were both unbelievably good. Packed with fruit, amazing crust, delicious and adorable. Would have bought more if I had known they were so dang tasty.

I had seen this restaurant multiple times on Facebook and had been wanting to try it out. Today, while walking by, we decided to stop in. The pumpkin pie and coconut cream pie were both delightful! The crust on both was light and flaky.

This restaurant deserves 5 stars, I would give it 10 if I could. This is our third visit and definitely won't be our last. Just a heads up, their popular items tend to sell out quickly, so if you have a specific dish in mind, like the Chicken Pot Pie, don't wait around. Speaking of which, the Chicken Pot Pie was absolutely amazing in every way. My wife loved the Tomato Pie as well. We also tried the Ginger Honey Peach tea and loved it so much that we bought a tin to take home. The restaurant is definitely worth the trip to Carthage, with a beautiful setting, delicious food cooked to perfection, and friendly service.

Everything we tried was delicious. Would definitely recommend this place. The pecan pie was my favorite.

Heard the pot pie here was amazing, but they sold out right before we could order. Loved the atmosphere and food here! Chicken salad sandwich was really good, but croissant was dry and overcooked. Pecan pie and chocolate pie were amazing! Definitely stop here if you can.
