The Original Whisler's - Carthage

This joint has been open for over 50 years and still so good I bought a dozen burgers to freeze home. Beef, pork, Pit Bull Combo. Great staff. I'd post pictures, but they're already in the freezer!

Great burger joint, fresh beef on soft buns, highly recommend the Farm with no cheese! Quick burgers made fresh to order are hard to beat, I make sure to hit up this joint whenever I'm in Carthage

Loved it! The staff is amazing and very friendly. When I showed up there were 2 Carthage police waiting for their orders. Anytime you see police eating at an establishment, usually its a good place to eat! I got 3 single patty cheeseburgers. These are 2oz. patties so if you order a burger, please take that into consideration. I got everything on mine, onions, ketchup, mustard and pickles. These guys have been doing one thing and doing it well since the 50s and that's making d@mn good burgers. Not much else to say, they have perfected the take-away burger bag experience whether your hungover, just looking for a quick bite or wanting to experience a bit of Carthage history, this is THE quick burger stop you need in your life.

When I come back home to Carthage I always make a point to stop in to pick up a bag of burgers from Whisler's! It was such a treat when I was a kid growing up in Carthage and they still taste as good as they did 50 and 60 years ago!
