Grill City - Carson

A convenient great place to eat and snack! Awesome choices from many favorite grilled, BBQd, stewed, fried, boiled, etc, meats, veggies, fruits! We had a BIG lunch with grilled giant squid, mongo stew, dilis (fried, crunchy smelts), bitter melon stew, BBQ chicken, and rice The squid was a bit overdone, blacked spots tentacles. Our dessert was an old time fave, ginatang mongo (sweetened mongo beans cooked in coconut milk). We brought some of the dessert back to Lolo Lolo?s house since we haven?t had this dessert since we were in the Philippines! If you?re hungry, your eyes nose will get full before you even start eating. A must place to eat, take out, and pick-up for family parties. Plenty ofparking, except on weekends, outside and it?s inside Seafood City. The location also has Jollibee, Valerio?s Red Ribbon bakeries, Chow King and a laundrymat. Across the street is another Filipino Plaza with Goldilock?s, Manila Lechon, JoyBakery, Tambuli, etc Great place to be and to eat endlessly!

Lady had on so many masks nobody understood what she was saying? Then she adjusted her mask with no hope with her bare hands. Then started filling the container with food while her thumb was all in the food. No thanks! I wonder how many people she got infected with covid! Stay away!!!

Donna , the cashier lady at this Carson City location is one of the nicest staff employees at Grill City Seafood City . She’s very courteous and customer oriented; always has a great attitude with a big smile….goes a long way , especially if there’s a long lineand you’re starving!Left one star off only due to pricing issues… Why does Grill City charge an extra $1 for seafood selections? You’re called “Seafood” City? SMH…

What's the point of having a line if nobody will be helped in order?Quality of service has declined over the years. Apparently if employees are behind you in line, your order is paused and employees are helped first. Or maybe a distraction occurs and your order is ceased midway without further communication and the next person will be helped and expedited to the cashier while you look like a road block people have to avoid. Yet as the consumer when you call it out, you're brushed off or just looked at as if they've never seen you in their life.My family has been coming here since it first opened since it's open late after we're off work and has good food when we don't have time to cook. However the last four visits have been subpar (weeks apart). Gave too many chances hoping it was a one time thing when it apparently was not.
