Saffron - Carson City

Great experience at saffron! the atmosphere is one of the best restaurants in carson. they did a fabulous job to feel this place inviting yet modern. eating is very authentic and tasty! tee, Turkish coffee and desserts and rare specialties to find in this opposite. the waitress was also incredibly knowledgeable to explain every court and the whole staff was friendly! thank you for making our night!

Service. wonderful! on a word, amazing! the aromas are so delicious! we had the tomatenbisse, lammschaft and koufteh recommend this place for lunch or dinner! they do not serve soda, which is amazing! Their coffee and tee selection are fabulous!

The inside of the restaurant looks so beautiful and posh! don't let them be fooled by the outside world! there is a bar and a large seating area with modern decor. the food tastes fresh and not heavy or greasy. we shared a veggie kebab and a sultan kebab. the pfeffer served with him was very sharp! one of the kebabs that came with our meal was filet mignon that I have never seen before! we have enjoyed all the aromen, although I was disappointed that the veggie kebab did not come with more sweet. I think if they're a vegetarian, and they just ordered it, they'd be hungry. both came with a lot of tears! eating was more expensive than I thought it would be, but I have read this place trying to use organic and high-quality ingredients that can explain the price (saffron is a famous expensive flavored) they expect an experience like fine eating. this place does not serve the soda, which is good of me, since I never order in restaurants! Instead, they have a wide sort of fresh juices at about 6 dollars each, alcohol and dinge like Turkish coffee. I think this restaurant would be perfect for a chic date or a special occasion, or for someone who wants to have juice or coffee with a baklava. I would visit again!

I am stopped for the fifth time and every time gets better and better, eating tasting is awsome, I live in California and Persian food there is not as good as tasting in saffron., so fresh, real meat tasting, the rice is the best. I had a koobideh kebab and I still fell well after my meal, and she offered me her homemade saffron baklava pistachio eis and was one of the best. they should try.

I love their kebabs, and the lamb shank, and esp. the double lamb burger. When I want something that's spicy and ethnic (esp. in Carson City), Saffron is where I go. Don't forget the baklava with saffron ice cream. It's quite delicious. It's really more 4.5 stars, but it doesn't allow you to click that. Service could be faster, but I'm OK with it as I like it when the staff leaves you alone to enjoy your meal. I highly recommend it if you don't mind the price.
