Sad Disappointment on a Plate. Ever since Nando 's graced our shores, I 've been a lover of their tender, moist chicken with its zingy and not so zingy variety of bastings. But it 's not just the chicken. Their salads, sweet potato chips, rice, and other menu items always delight the taste buds. But... Sadly, the franchise and its restaurant management appears to have lost touch with reality here, and now, only a few restaurants remain on the northside of Brisbane. It appears there 's a reason for that, too. Today 's experience was disappointing, frustrating, and downright aggravating, with a manager determined to put on a forced, condescending, and 'smart ' attitude, accompanied by one of those over exaggerated fake smiles to really rub it in. So thank you, Nandos Carseldine. You have successfully managed to alienate someone who has always sung your praise. Do better, or become a statistic like all those other stores around you. This Nando's is really good we ordered chicken many times here, and never were disappointed. Food is always fresh and made as quickly as possible, and staff is always polite, even when they are really busy. Parking: I would recommend underground parking there are a lot of lots there. Very disappointing experience. Ignoring the dining in patrons and serving only takeaway orders, shouting their numbers on top of voice as if there are no patrons in the restaurant, charred chicken, cold rice, oh the service and quality has really gone down so much. Theres always a something when you order from this store, dont have this or dont have that, didnt get your order but have been charged and gotta pay for it again and get reimbursed, cool your chicken and forget the chips so chicken sits there while cooking chips. So disappointing. Ordered online for pick up, came to the store after 15 minutes and they said it’ll be ready in a couple of minutes. Ended up waiting another 20 minutes which was fine if the food was good. What was disappointing was the fact that I saw 2 of the meals I ordered come straight out of the microwave. Took 35 minutes for a wrap, and to microwave a paella and some broccoli? We ordered a chicken wrap and it didn’t come with chicken. My broccoli was just soggy coming out of the microwave and no seasoning at all. I used to work in F&B so I understand how busy it can get but at least serve decent food and not just food straight out of the microwave after making us wait almost 40 minutes.
