There's nothing unique about John Dory's it's decent food, it's relatively pricey and there's nothing that sets it apart that makes you want to call it your favourite chippy. The service is standard, nothing to shout home about. The price per person falls comfortably between £10 and £20, making it an affordable option without compromising on quality. The standout dishes for me were the cod and chips. The cod was perfectly cooked, flaky and fresh, with a light, crispy batter that complemented it beautifully. The chips were golden and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside—definitely a winning combination. I highly recommend trying the cod and chips if you’re looking for a satisfying and tasty meal. Overall, this restaurant provides great value for money!

Haven’t been in a while to this John Dorys, last time wasn’t great, this time was worse, rubbery chicken not actually sure it was cooked fully and fish bites you could ring out, cost of living and the price of things do better John Dorys !
