Velvet Hookah Lounge - Carrollton

I've been there last night after 4 years. Awful customer service, Our first head of hookah was with a lot of mint and when I asked the server to change it he was literally trying to convince me that I was wrong, and he was arguing with me and in startsmoking our hookah with the same hose, finally he change the head, and The next head burned After smoking for 30 minutes becuaseHe kept putting charcoals in middle of the head like he doesn't know how to work in hookah lounge. We ordered black tea hebrought us green tea. It was a very awful customer service and experience. I don't know what happened to that place but fouryears ago when I was there a lot of Persians were working there and it was really really great.

Decent hookah place, lots of seating areas, not the most comfortable sits though. They have lots of hookah flavors, ironically they were out of the one we ordered so we had to go with something else. Was supposed to be busy the time I visited but we werethe only customer. Prices are ok, too.

The restaurant offered delicious food, and the hookah was enjoyable as well, though it was definitely overpriced.

I was overcharged and they refused to provide an itemized receipt. When I raised the issue, they threatened to call the police. The prices on the menu are incorrect, and the staff was very rude. I will never return.

This place is my favorite! I really enjoy it here. There's plenty of parking available, and it's BYOB. They offer hookah and Egyptian food. The food is decent, especially great when you’ve had a few drinks!
