Ponderosa Steakhouse - Carrollton

Food and service was amazing! I told them I have problems with gluten and they cook me a non-marinated steak on a clean grill!

The restaurant was clean and the buffet was nicely organized and well displayed. The staff was very friendly and the waitress stopped by every few minutes to check of everything was ok and if we needed anything. The food was good but not exceptional. The price was a little steep for the offering. One of my party was an older woman who had a half a plate of salad, and a small dinner plate of food and a piece of cake, her price was the same as mine..$12.95. They need to consider having a senior price for those who eat much smaller portions. Overall a very good experience.

The Ponderosa is always about the same. The food looks nice, it is hot and quite good. The meatloaf was very good and my son said the chicken was also good. Today was a holiday and we got there just in time because when we left, people were lined up out the door. We did notice that there was only one other restaurant open just outside of town called The Heartland and it was also very busy and their food is always good too.

Best Teerosa in the area, even before Allianz closed. The food is always fresh, and the staff is friendly and attentive with drink refills. The atmosphere is lovely, and the prices are reasonable. They also have weekly specials.
