Cafe De Khan - Carrollton

I was missing Pakistani food since moving recently, and this takeout order was tasty and reasonably priced. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the nihari was delicious. I don't often eat halal meat but I feel like it often tastes better, as it did here. I ordered a lot for one person and finished the leftovers by the next day, which also says a lot about how good it was. The place is tucked away in a quiet corner of a busy area, so I felt bad when I arrived on a Saturday and I seemed like the only one there (it was between mealtimes though I think). I was greeted by a young woman with pretty eyes and it seemed like a family was running the place. The food was also lighter on the stomach than I expected and less pricey than a lot of S. Asian competitors around. Thank you for a taste I was missing!

Excellent variety of all my favorite Mediterranean and halal options. Everything was exceptionally fresh and well seasoned. Service was also very good.

Excellent lunch! Mom I found this restaurant today and had an amazing lunch: salmon bowl was perfection; mixed grill was too. Huge portions served so we needed 3 large to-go boxes for leftovers. Service was great. We will be back soon!
