Steel String Brewery - Carrboro

I love it here and enjoy all the seating and great beer selection. There is often good music playing. Friendly environment for children, as well. Good place for a date or playing games. I took a star off because the small patio is often overtaken by people smoking. It ruins the entire patio area. I have seen me and others flee when others light up. I wish this was a non smoking place!

Good brews especially the stouts, watermelon wheat, and raspberry kombucha. Service is excellent. Good place to stop in, chill, and have a couple brews. There is outside seating and live music certain days.

I love Steel String Brewery. The beer is of the highest quality and staff is always great! I've not had food there, but that is because they don't serve food themselves.

Shockingly good beer. I never expected a Pickle Gose to actually taste good, but it was miraculously tame. The other sours were great, too! Honorable mention to the kombucha, as well. I 've had a lot of blueberry kombuchas but that one was by far the best I 've ever had.

This spot has a great selection. Quiet when I visited, but nice outdoor space! Beer is great!
