Boekenoogen Winery Tasting

The food at this restaurant is exceptional and the staff are friendly and attentive. However, I docked a star for the excessive noise levels inside. They should consider installing sound-absorbing materials to improve the dining experience.

The staff is friendly, and being able to bring your own wine makes it a great place to have lunch. Definitely try some of the best wines from the Monterey region.

The restaurant offers a variety of tasting menus, plenty of available seating, welcoming staff, and excellent wine.

We’ve been here twice, once in 2020 and more recently in 2021. The first time the service was great super friendly and attentive. Second time the service was inconsistent, rude, and we got only 6 of the 7 tastings we paid for. The folks working there also seemed to be fighting with each other? The wines aren’t good enough to go back go a couple doors down to Albatross Ridge for better wine and people.
