The Lit Moose - Carmel

This place was really good. The appetizer fries were awesome, the tacos were delicious and the service was pretty good for how busy they were. There was a table of senior citizens behind us that were rather loud and rude, but that I can brush off. It is Carmel after all, and West Clay to boot. Great atmosphere otherwise, and I highly recommend. Not as expensive as I'd have thought either!

Sat outside and were sat right in front of the musician...fun spot but not conducive to conversation... would've appreciated being asked if that was okay. He wasn't playing at the time we sat down, otherwise we would have asked to sit elsewhere. Fun environment. Live music outside was fun...not the greatest musician but fun none the less. Server was lacking... he gave all his attention to the table of ladies behind us. Food was pretty good. My wife's burger was cooked correctly. My elk burger was over cooked. Generally a good place to eat. Not sure if we'll be back or not.

They should make it known that they no longer serve brunch so they don't waste people's time. Regardless, the food was average at best.

First time to the Lit Moose. Ordered the amazing truffle fries and pork tacos. Meal was tasty but they could work on their service. Was a sat evening and seemed a bit backed up getting drinks out. Nice diverse menu!

Warm beers .... the solution? Cold glasses, not a good remedy.
