Rad's - Carmel

Wanted to like this little local place. Some of our food was served cold after taking much too long to come out, the restaurant was only 1/2 full so they weren't that busy. I got the frittata which was really small (literally thinner than a pancake) and came with no sides. It's not a good value for what you get here. Hash browns were cold and greasy, eggs Benedict was inconsistent, one egg was hard, one was runny, the hollandaise was curdled. Coffee is also not good, just watery and generic. Wish it was better, $60 brunch and left hungry.

Self-serve coffee. Fresh baked goods. Broken yolk sandwich on point, but slightly missing a bit of seasoning and spice for my taste. I ordered my sandwich with rye bread and it was delicious. Country music in the background, soft volume. Slightly noisy because of the way the sound bounces off the walls.

Rad's is our favorite breakfast spot. It is a small spot, which we love! The staff are helpful and kind. The setting is relaxed. Want to come in your sweats because you just woke up? Do it! I really like their self-service coffee station with the Snickerdoodle coffee . The one thing we love about Rad's is that they are consistent! We've never had a bad experience at Rad's and the food is consistently good. This time, I tried something new... the breakfast tacos! Normally I get the BLT, but this will for sure be my go-to order from now on. Thank you to our server for suggesting them!

Who knew this place was here! Cute breakfast spot tucked into this strip mall. Lots of options including lunch. Fast friendly table service. Grab your own mug and get coffee as you want it. My friend and I both had basic breakfast that came with crunchy hash browns that were yummy. Eggs and choice of meat and toast were included for $11! Sweet options were hard to pass up in so will need to revisit this place again. Parking easy and close.

We’ve gone to Rad’s twice lately, and it was so good! The service was great and fast. We got the biscuits and gravy, which comes with eggs and hash browns which were really good, bottomless self serve coffee. Nice homey feel on the inside. We also purchased a banana chocolate chip muffin to bring home that was made fresh in house that morning. We will be back!
