Some of the dishes were clearly not fresh and tasted stale. I believe that improving the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant would greatly enhance the overall experience. We visited for the last time in January. Although I want to support local businesses, I cannot return in its current state.
I'm from lafayette indiana and ask for fried rice and didn't get it. I have brown rice with nothing. who eats brown rice with nothing in the rice, no sweet or meat came into the rice. then they lie over the appetizers platter 2 eggs roll 2 crabs and 2 wings and they see what I got. the money for a China Express is not worth it.
Family was asking for Chinese food, so we ordered 4 different items. No one enjoyed eating. Just doesn't taste good. there is a lot to eat, but what is the point when they can't eat it. great disappointment when you have all the good reviews of this place. menu prices on a website are wrong. we got $10 more. also they do not give an actual acknowledgement.
My wife and I ordered from China Express one night recently and we were both amazed by what we received. When we opened our takeout containers, we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and how well everything was cooked. The quality and quantity of the food for the price we paid was impressive. We would definitely dine here again and give it a 10 out of 10 rating.
Our food was awful. We ordered general tso, orange chicken, and Mongolian chicken. They were all flavorless. General Tao should be spicy, it had no spice and was mostly breading. The duck sauce was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted and the orange sauce tasted like ketchup. I hate throwing away food and wasting money but we threw it all away.
