The Ferryman Delicatessen - Carmarthen

This place is an absolute gem just out of the centre of Laugharne. Compact, small business, family run, it is a wonderful fusion of local Welsh produce and perhaps surprising but beautifully provided Spanish cuisine. The only way to describe it for me is proper home cooked food I had the meatballs) that I would happily order and enjoy in a top end restaurant. There was eight of us and we almost filled the place but not one person was disappointed with their meal. Point to note here, a number of our group are vegetarian, and they were very happy with their options. Give it a go if you are in town. Wonderful staff delicious gluten free cake, good coffee.

Great little find. Small deli and cafe selling products and food with a Spanish slant. Had really fresh baguette filled with chorizo, cheese and peppers; my wife having the lentil soup with toasted bread. Coffees really good also. Despite the posting of a previous reviewer, we were welcomed and had a good conversation about the ways of the world at the moment. Highly recommended. These small businesses should be supported.
