Tinleaf Fresh Kitchen - Carlsbad

One of our favorite local places for a wonderful refreshing salad. They have so many varieties and all of them we have had are exceptional We go 2 to 3 times per month.

I dislike restaurants like this. It has a very chain like feel/look. You order at the counter and pay right away. You tip when you pay; which is when you order! Why are we tipping anyway?!? For what service?? They do bring your food to your table when it's ready you have numbers. But they never check up on you to see if you need anything else. And my food was not good. Overcooked meat and bland! I'm sure that other than this, the location is run as it's meant to be. However, when I go to a restaurant to eat there, I want to be served! Especially when I'm expected to tip!

The food is healthy and delicious, the patio is gorgeous, and the staff are the best. The surrounding patio area was recently closed to dogs, but Tinleaf welcomes pets in their patio area. And when I say welcome, I mean truly welcome, as in a staff member brought our pup a bowl of water. Talk about above and beyond! Love this place!

I have not been to Tinleaf since the pandemic and was pleasantly surprised to find my favorite menu items still there as well as new ones to explore! The new outdoor dining patio is fabulous and provides plenty of shade for a comfortable dining experience.

Very good option for healthy and fresh food. A little pricey but reasonable for the quality of the ingredients they use. In my opinion the entree plates are better option than the sandwiches but it's just personal preference.
