Ember Rye - Carlsbad

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! It's charming, cozy, and so delightful that I nearly wanted to keep it as my little secret. But since we believe in sharing the love on Yelp, I have to give it the recognition it deserves. Be prepared for a wait when you arrive—this is always a good sign! It was busy on a Saturday morning, and for very good reason. The staff at the entrance were friendly, and we were seated relatively quickly despite the weekend crowd. The food was simply outstanding—everything we tried was fantastic, and I left with a big smile on my face. I love discovering hidden gems like this one that deserve a perfect 5-star rating. I adore this place and will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area. The food, service, and atmosphere were all incredible!

The food here is consistently excellent, and I love that they use croissants as croutons in their Caesar salad. It's absolutely delicious!

Unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. However, the service was outstanding and the cocktails were great—those were the two highlights of my experience. The taste and quality of the food felt over-rated. I would only recommend this restaurant if you're on a business trip and someone else is covering the bill.

We had a lovely evening celebrating our anniversary at Ember and Rye. From the cocktail the mixologist made for us at the bar, to the final bite of dessert, the event was memorable. Thank you!

Lovely patio dining overlooking the golf course. Food was amazing as was the service. Relaxed setting, the wait staff was very attentive and made us feel welcome. The signature drinks were fabulous, and we highly recommend trying some of them!
