American Heroes Brew - Carlsbad

American Heroes was truly amazing! We visited twice during our long weekend getaway. The passion for food is evident throughout the restaurant. The dishes from Hoboken, Miami, and Carlsbad were exceptional. The fries and onion rings were piping hot and incredibly crispy. Plus, they have a great selection of alcoholic beverages. This is a must-visit spot!

The bartender took our order, and I asked for his recommendations on sandwiches. He mentioned that the owner is from Philadelphia and that they serve a fantastic Philly cheesesteak sandwich, along with highly praised meatball sandwiches. So, we went with those suggestions. Both sandwiches were outstanding. The Philly cheesesteak was hands down the best I’ve had on the West Coast—and possibly even on the East Coast. The ribeye was tender and packed with flavor, and the bread was excellent. It was a true Philly cheesesteak, complete with cheese whiz, and it was delicious. The meatball sandwich was equally impressive; it was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The meatballs were soft and melted in my mouth, and once again, the bread was soft and delightful. They served the marinara sauce on the side, which made it a perfect dipping option—definitely a great sandwich. My daughter ordered a chicken sandwich, which she described as very good, and everything on our plates tasted fresh and flavorful. My grandson opted for a kids’ cheeseburger from the menu, and it turned out to be better than most burgers I've tried elsewhere. I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic place! We stopped by during a family vacation, and it exceeded our expectations. The sandwiches were huge, and the fries were perfectly crispy. My one-year-old even made sure to check if all the fries were gone when we said we were "all done." I will definitely add this place to my list of spots to revisit!

I have spent YEARS looking for the perfect chicken sandwich!!! I finally found it!! The atmosphere was great. Service could have been a bit more prompt with water refills, but the strawberry margaritas were the best.

I enjoyed eating here! For a Friday night, it wasn?t very busy, which was actually nice. We got the Tombstone burger and the special, the Baltimore Pit Beef. Both super delicious sandwiches which I?d happily eat any day. Only down side is the price is abit high to not come with fries or any side. The staff was super friendly and pleasant!
