フィードバックを提供するWe came on our trip to new england. what a jewel! big beer the black forest black beer was a unique and tasty dark beer. also has a large amount of German foods that we did not try, but the sandwich, the beet salad and enormous soft pulpits were brilliant! finally a friendly staff and even a dog-friendly terrace!
Large selection of unique craft brews. eating is also excellent and the waiting staff is top notch. I love coming here when I'm at the Carlisle fairground.
I’m giving Desperate Times an excellent because if you set your expectations properly, they deliver. First, the beer, some of the most authentic German Pilsner I’ve had outside of Germany. The soft pretzel was huge, fresh, hot and delicious. The house mustard and beer cheese sauce perfect. My schnitzel sandwich didn’t look like much but man did it taste good- pounded really thin and deep fried to a pleasant and moist crunch, on a roll with a delicious garlic aioli. Service is pleasant and friendly but they are busy and the bartenders won’t be your besties here. Well worth a stop for good beer and a sandwich. Get potato salad or kraut on the side- it’s extra but the store potato chips distract from the meal
Desperate Times Brewery has an excellent variety of brews that include IPA’s, Pilsners, Ales, and many dark brews. Tasting samplers available. Especially loved the Oatmeal Stout. The dining menu is diverse with many great choices. Heavily leans to German and Irish themed. Kids menu if you wish to make it a family visit. Space is open and has an industrial decor but could use something to brighten it up. Walls are a bit bare.Nice outdoor seating area. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
Good beers and good food with good people serving it. Heavy German theme. One of our favorite places.
