Nelson Resto Bar - Cariló

We had the misfortune of choosing this place to eat for our last night in Buenos Aires. We should have left before ordering the food as from the off the service was terrible. The girl who had warmly welcomed us in suddenly became very dismissive and waved at us to sit anywhere. After a few minutes deliberating we ordered two full burgers and were then told there weren't any burgers. Why didn't he tell us that when he gave us the menus? So we ordered pizza and some beer. Service was really slow and eventually the waiter came with two plates which were old and badly chipped, 2 glasses one of which was badly chipped and a jar of beer which also had a massive chip. As someone who spent a night in casualty last year after swallowing glass after drinking from a chipped glass, I asked for a different glass. Half an hour later the waiter came back with a different glass but worse than the previous one! So we had to ask again. Several wrong orders come to our table. When our food eventually arrived ( it takes ages to come) the pizza was burnt and tasteless. Thoroughly awful. Generating the bill took an age so eventually we had to get up and ask them to please sort it out. Never ever again. Ruined our last night in Bs As. Shame.

Nelson is a very good place if you want to eat good sea food. Atmosphere and decoration are very nice. Waiters are very good and serviceable. Service is pretty fast.

Although this bar is not at the beach, it's very close by. It has a small deck and tables inside. The deck has a beach bar deco, it's clean, with very good service and great food. We had burger and fries and a beer. Price performance it's excellent. We went off rush hour so service was very quick. Will be back for sure!!

My wife and I stopped off for a quick lunch-time beer. We sat outside, on high stools. Close to the beach. We didn't eat anything, but some nearby customers had hamburgers which looked very nice. A funky atmosphere, inside and out. Helpful service. Recommended.
