Donna's Place - CARIBOO J

My husband and I enjoyed a pub style meal here while staying in Nimpo Lake area. Food was great and the service was even better! This is not fine dining but certainly good food at a good price.

If you don't care about the attitude or the cleanliness. It's not dirty but if the Health board walked in, it would be shut down. I actually stood there watching a few times keeping a close full eye as I seen some poor food handling, thinking "if the Health Board came in, this place would be shut down" BUT the food is excellent.

We stopped here and had a very good lunch in the middle of nowhere. It's off Hwy 20 and if you need a rest and some food - it's a good bet. We had sandwiches and hamburgers and all were very good. Instead of fries we had homemade soup which was very good. It's a simple place so don't expect much but we all thought the food was good and the place was clean. If I was ever in the area again I would definitely have lunch here again.

My hubby and I stopped there for lunch. I loved the nachos I ordered, but he enjoyed his burger a lot! the baked were delicious! homemade quality. we have chosen one donuts and went back after a walk around the opposite again to grab more donuts before we ventilate. the lady who led the kitchen was so beautiful and very warm. I recommend this place for the burgers, donuts and friendliness of the staff.
