Lookout Cafe - Cardiff

Always had an amazing time at this venue. They offer a fabulous event venue and some fabulous events of their own but this venue is one of the best locations to sit in the sun or to what the sunset in Wales.

A few of us decided to try out a buffet at this restaurant. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we noticed that the food had been left uncovered and was not kept chilled. It was uncomfortably hot and there were flies hovering around the food. When my friend inquired about the lack of proper food handling, they did not receive a satisfactory explanation. We were concerned about the possibility of food poisoning. It was disappointing to see such low standards at an otherwise beautiful location.

Very disappointing. Great views and friendly staff but overpriced and poor value for money. The tiniest flapjack ever, UHT milk in tea and coffee! Just horrible. The only saving grace was the mocktail. I’m sure it’s great for wine and olives.

I first visited this restaurant for a drink to watch the sunset, and then returned the next morning for a delightful full Welsh breakfast! The place is amazing with a beautiful wooden terrace offering a fantastic view of the bay. I absolutely loved it. A must-visit in Cardiff!

This restaurant on Cardiff's waterfront is a hidden gem. We had a fantastic night of entertainment in a tented extension that used to be an exhibition space. A female impersonator put on a hilariously entertaining show while we enjoyed our dinner and drinks. Definitely worth checking out!
