Golden Lotus - Cardiff

We had a wonderful family outing and everyone really enjoyed their meals. The prices were reasonable too. I would definitely recommend it!

This was my second meal from this restaurant, and I’ve tried about a dozen different places in Cardiff. So far, this one takes the top spot. I made a mistake this time and it turned out great, so I’m giving it a 5-star rating!

I've never been disappointed with this restaurant. Yes, there's often a bit of a wait for the fish, but it's always freshly cooked and not sitting under heat lamps. When families with young children come in, the staff often treat the kids to a free lollipop, which is another great reason to visit! It's a wonderful chip shop. I've never had a reason to complain, and their portion sizes are generous. They also offer more choices than other chip shops. I can't say enough good things about this place!

Tried here tonight as our local was closed and had heard good things about here. The first 2 dishes we tried were really good and then we opened our favourite dish (chicken satay skewers) and they were horrid..... Chicken was dry which is odd as it sits in a sauce, the pineapple was hard and tasteless and it all just tasted synthetic. Wouldn't not necessarily use here again but wouldn't rave about it.

The best Chinese takeaway in Cardiff! They never disappoint us. Thank you, everyone!
