Brød The Danish Bakery - Cardiff

Lovely little bakery with great ambiance and very tasty pastry and bread! Would recommend the Mad Brot.

Was walking through the suburbs of Cardiff for a place for breakfast and found a Danish bakery. Don't let the photograph of a half-eaten sandwich detract from the quality of the food, this place was amazing and great value for money. They had a very relaxed atmosphere, with places and chairs for children. Such a great bakery and one I would say is worth going out of your way to drop in and I look forward to visiting again.

Have only ever gotten too good to go bags from here as it's quite pricey BUT the food is delicious, the cheesy/pizza swirls are to die for and so are the cinnamon rolls. Bread is beautiful and always fresh, despite being past its best.

Honestly love this place! I come often, and enjoy it every time. The staff are super nice and friendly, and the service is lovely. My favourite is the cream snegl thing which is to die for. They also serve coffee and savoury foods!

Really nice cafe, the coffee was very good and I'm not normally a pastry guy but it was delicious. The cinnamon finger/slice was great, staff were friendly. I liked the little background and how the owner was inspired by their grandfather to bake.
