Immersed for a brunch and was excited to find they had freshly made kawl as special. the service and eating were both excellent, and the problems seem to mention since early reviews have been solved. I would definitely visit again. Note for cyclists: there are a few places outside where they can lock their bike and keep them an eye on it through the windows. but it's a big enough space that could bring her bike in most times of the day.
What a funny little to start our day in cardiff! open and inviting space with big windows (so much light the heating question discussed in previous reviews seems to be fixed because we were toasty warm and could be seen heating around. our brunch was delicious and our coffee was perfect.
We went for breakfast our first visit and had the smashed avocado on sourdough every mouthful was delicious. Lovely service and the menu looks great so we will be back very soon!
Stumbled upon this place, was surprised to see it open as I thought I’ve found all the vegan spots while living here in Cardiff. As soon as I walked in I could tell it was a restaurant still struggling to set up and find its way. It is a very nice space, and has great potential but has heating issues so the space was very cold. The staff were lovely. The menu LOOKED great. So my excitement ramped up. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with hash-browns and sausage. Thinking it would be delicious. I was wrong. As soon as I saw the plate I was reminded again, this is a place struggling to get on its feet. It was inedible as a sandwich, so I ate it in parts, mushy hash browns, average veggie sausage, bland sauce. Completely uninspired for what should’ve been a fun adventurous sandwich. I’ll give this place a 2nd chance as my wife and I love supporting small vegan businesses where we can, but as world travelers who’ve eaten at the best of the best vegan places in the world our standards are very high. Especially coming from Los Angeles where we have some of the most inspired vegan in the world. I hope they can pull it together!
