Sunny Street Cafe - Carbondale

This is definitely my favorite brunch spot in Carbondale! They offer a fantastic variety of dishes, and the service is outstanding. I've tried several items from their menu, and none have let me down! I highly recommend the sunny skillet and the chicken and waffles (which I've included in the two pictures). You can't go wrong with their stuffed cookies and gravy either!

This is a lovely restaurant with outstanding service. The menu is fairly typical, but the staff is very attentive. I would definitely recommend it!

On my first visit to this restaurant, I ordered the eggs Benedict, and they were delicious. Although my eggs weren't cooked quite right, the manager was incredibly kind! He prepared a new dish for me to take home and didn't charge me for my meal, which made for a wonderful experience. I will definitely be returning!

Sofia was our waitress. She did a great job. It was the first time in this restaurant. The food was delicious. My children loved the dinosaur pancake. I have the power breakfast. It is on her lit section on her menu.

There’s service, then there is service by Sophia at Sunny Street Cafe in Carbondale. I dine out a lot. I see service all across the spectrum, but in my opinion Sophia leads the way. What else, most of the staff here is in my top rankings for service provided. I appreciate how friendly they are and how welcoming this crew makes us feel. They say unique things to us, which makes us feel special and remembered. They smile, but nothing forced. they tend to our needs ideally. That’s just the front of the house though. Each meal I’ve ordered, has been yummy. I’ve had the I may get these names wrong but let’s see sunnys skillet so good, I’ve had cinnamon roll pancakes, I’ve tasted some delicious salad my precious wife ordered, ... the folks in the back are making it happen. I’d go more if I didn’t want to be the weird regular.
