Kol Steakhouse - Carbondale

This review is focused on the dining experience at the restaurant. I enjoyed two dinners and a complimentary breakfast during my recent visit. The waitstaff was attentive.

My family recently had a gathering at this restaurant. We reserved a private room for our group of 12 from the main dining area. We placed our order and enjoyed our meal.

The breakfast oat bowl was served without milk, butter, or toast. The side dish was only a small portion of fruit. In the evening, the spinach salad had large stems and lacked flavor.

We had a confirmed reservation for my husband birthday, but arrived the restaurant closed for a private event. we could have been really happy that we had informed us about a certain time, so that we were disappointed in a special occasion, especially after we had traveled a way there.

We are new in the opposite. the room felt like a diner. no character. service was friendly but underoccupied. the food was good.
