Harolds Chicken - Carbondale

This place says open and still takes payments even when their closed..I was robbed of $40 never received food never received a refund..Tried calling corporate no way to ever get ahold of anyone even thru facebook..Bad Business

I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. I had made an order for pick-up on a Saturday night but there was an unexpected power outage and the order couldn’t be fulfilled by the pick-up time. The staff called to inform me of this and I explained that my pickup time was not an issue because the order was being bought to reheat the next day. I explained that we intended to eat it while watching the Sunday games with my boyfriend’s father who is originally from Chicago (he had been talking about wanting Harold’s for weeks). After hearing this the staff graciously offered to come in the next day when they are traditionally closed to fulfill the order fresh. When I came to pick up the order the staff offered me a free 2 liter of soda and also offered carry my order out to my car. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate their efforts and the high quality of their food and service.

Great food. They're doing their best. Sometimes things get behind schedule. It seems like consistent staffing is hard to maintain here. I believe it, there's been a town wide decline apparent. The food is solid and the people in charge are really trying.

Gone twice now. Man at the counter remembered my name from the 1st visit. Friendly folks and excellent food! Thanks guys!

Take out only no dine-in which is how I like it. The gentleman at the counter remembers my face so it makes each trip more personable. The various wait times are not an issue especially when I know my food will be fresh. I usually get a 6pcs with extra lemon pepper and hot sauce on the side. The price is 15$ and I get it about once or twice a month, each and every time I get (regardless of I walk in order or call in order) the food is fresh and cooked to my satisfaction. There are no issue with employee customer relations I never hear anyone complain and I'm always served with a smile. I will continue to return I appreciate what you guys are bringing to the community.
